us to carry out the mission that Jesus entrusted to us: “I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25: 35-40. Across our Diocese, we are seeking support for Time for Giving. Now, more than ever before, our neighbors are in need. We have a financial goal of $500,000 to help fund the mission of Catholic Charities Dallas which serves the “least among us”. This is our opportunity to unite and make a real difference in the lives of the many we serve.
Your donation helps Catholic Charities Dallas:
Care for the elderly
- $100 a month helps provide social services, care and housing to a homeless individual through St. Jude Center
Educate the disadvantaged
- $250 a month provides parenting classes and early childhood education through the Together We Learn program
Provide food for the hungry
– $500 provides enough food for two families of four for a month
Provide emergency relief
- $1,000 helps provide critical rental and financial assistance.
We invite you to partner with us to make a real difference in the lives of the many we serve.

2 Corinthians 9:12
The clergy, staff, Pastoral Council, and parishioners want to thank Dr. Susan K. Parker for her more than
17 years of dedication and service to
Our Lady of Angels.
Sue lovingly has served our parish in many roles, including as the Pastoral Associate to Msgr. Bell; the Director of Pastoral Care; the staff liaison on both the Pastoral Council and the Parish Leadership Team; as the Ministry & Outreach Coordinator;
and as staff supervisor.
Through her work in each of these roles, Sue ministered to and touched so many individuals and families. Guided by the Holy Spirit, Sue has brought compassion, care, and empathy to our parishioners in times of pain and joy with wisdom, expertise, and love.
We give thanks to God and share our great appreciation to Sue for her time here at Our Lady of Angels and we wish her a very blessed, fulfilling,
and joyful retirement.
Congratulations on your retirement!
May God bless you and keep you strong as you begin this new life-journey.
If you would like to send a personal note to Sue,
you may send a card or letter to her c/o

2021 Graduating Seniors
This week, they are covering “A Process Approach to Caring,” which provides the key understanding that the most effective caregiving happens when we focus on the process of care – not the results we hope to see.
They do not have to fix the caregivers’ problems; instead, they can continue providing the best possible care while relying on God to bring about the results.
